Hunt & Hammer is headquartered in Battersea, south-west London, but our classic car auctions run nationwide. We consign, photograph, transport and sell significant motor cars from every part of the United Kingdom, England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, through the same Private Market platform and verified bidder database.
Bidding runs through our Private Market: a register of consigned motor cars where verified bidders submit confidential offers. Bids are never published. A bidder sees only their own standing in the order, first, second, third, never the amounts or identities of others. Timed public auctions with published results follow.
UK-wide consignments
Owners can consign from anywhere in the UK. Our photography network covers the whole country, transport can be arranged nationwide, and every lot is settled through Graeme Hunt Ltd, the London classic car specialist established in 2001.

How bidding works
- Browse the register, no account needed to view any car in full.
- Register and upload identification once; we approve you for bidding.
- Submit a private offer before the closing date. Nothing is made public.
- If your bid is accepted, the sale is concluded through Hunt & Hammer, with title, finance settlement and V5C handled properly.

Viewing and appointments
Cars can be viewed by appointment at 1A Coppock Close, Battersea, London SW11 2LE, or inspected at the consignor’s location by prior arrangement. Email admin@hunthammerauctions.com to arrange a viewing or ask about a specific lot.
